CADMEF IMC Academic Roundtable

This year's Roundtable will be held at DePaul University in mid-May 2012.  Please contact juliethart@sbcglobal.net for more information.

The IMC Academic Roundtable was created in 2002 to create a mini-conference for professors teaching or interested in the area of direct and interactive marketing.  Since then, the program has grown into two days of community, research in development and the presentation and discussion of ideas for faculty to bring back to the classroom.    The first day of the conference features selected faculty papers, group discussion and a keynote address and dinner.  Day 2 addresses a central theme and features stars of Chicago’s vibrant interactive marketing community.  The Roundtable is offered to college professors free of charge.

CADMEF’s Okner Symposium

This year's Symposium will be held on Friday, February 24th at Northwestern University.  For more information, contact Juliet Hart at juliethart@sbcglobal.net.

The Okner Symposium was created in 2000 to create an opportunity for Midwestern college students and their professors to share in the rich experience of Chicago’s direct marketing community and to learn directly from professionals in the field.  Leading practitioners across many direct marketing disciplines volunteer their time and talent for the program, which features roundtable discussion, dynamic presentations and panels that encourage discussion.

Case Writers' Workshop

The Case Writers’ Workshop is an annual event in partnership with DMEF’s Research Summit that produces timely and relevant IMC marketing cases for classroom use. At this event, companies present their real world situations to aspiring writers and winning case writers present their work and discuss their writing experience. To learn more about this year’s Case Writers’ Workshop, which will be held in Boston on Saturday, October 1st, click here.

Winning cases may be published in the International Journal of Integrated Marketing Communications.
